Setting our grant budget<\/h3>\n

We set out our \u2018budget\u2019 at the beginning of our grant making year in January, but individuals and organizations can apply to us for funding at any time, throughout the year.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n

Application reviews <\/h3>\n

Although the money takes a while to come in, our trustees, start assessing funding applications, based on our strict criteria. It takes less than a year to allocate money raised to projects.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n

Paying out the money<\/h3>\n

Once allocated, we don\u2019t give out the money to projects all at once. We pay out the money in instalments over the lifetime of the grant so that we can do some checks and balances and make sure the cash is really doing what it\u2019s supposed to, making a difference to young lives. It\u2019s the really responsible way of doing things.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n
